Good news! BounceBack® is now available in this area as part of the provincial Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) program, which provides free treatment for individuals experiencing depression, stress and anxiety-related conditions. Conditions include depression and low mood, generalized anxiety and worry, health anxiety, obsessive-compulsive concerns, other anxiety and stress-related problems, posttraumatic stress, social anxiety and performance fears, specific fears, and unexpected panic attacks and agoraphobic fears.
To participate in the program, your client can sign up for the program themselves, or a referral can be submitted by their psychiatrist, primary care provider (family doctor, nurse practitioner) or other health care professional.
Once a referral is made, your client will be screened to ensure they are eligible to participate in the program and ensure it is the right fit. They will then be offered support that best meets their individual needs and preferences.
How to refer:
To begin the referral process, you will first need to complete the online referral form on the OSP-CMHA website. Clients will then be contacted by someone from OSP-CMHA to get started. If you have any questions, please email osp-referral@cmha-yr.on.ca or call 1-866-345-0224 ext. 1343.
