Good news! BounceBack® is now available in Northwestern Ontario as part of the provincial Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) program, which provides treatment for depression, anxiety, and anxiety-related conditions. Conditions include depression and low mood, generalized anxiety and worry, health anxiety, obsessive-compulsive concerns, other anxiety and stress-related problems, posttraumatic stress, social anxiety and performance fears, specific fears, and unexpected panic attacks and agoraphobic fears. While services are provided by BounceBack and mental health providers in the Northwest region, the referrals are coordinated by St Joseph’s Care Group.
In order to participate in the Bounce Back program, your client can self refer to the program or a referral can be submitted by their psychiatrist, primary care provider (family doctor, nurse practitioner) or other health care professional.
Once a referral is made, your client will be screened to ensure they are eligible to participate in the program and ensure it is the right fit. They will then be offered support that best meets their individual needs and preferences.
How to refer:
To begin the referral process, you will first need to complete the referral form on The Access Point Northwest website or visit the OSP page on the St Joseph’s Care Group website. Clients will then be contacted by someone from St. Joseph’s Care Group to get started. If you have any questions, please contact: OSP at St Joseph’s Care Group at 1-807-624-3400 ext. 3543.
