BounceBack is a free skill-building program designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression, anxiety, stress or worry. Delivered online or over the phone with a coach, you will get access to tools that will support you on your path to mental wellness.
BounceBack was designed and launched by CMHA British Columbia. Since being launched across BC in 2008, BounceBack has shown to reduce depressive and anxious symptoms by 50% at program completion. In Ontario, the Canadian Mental Health Association York Region South Simcoe has licensed BounceBack from CMHA BC since 2017, delivering the BounceBack program to individuals across the province.
About BounceBack Ontario
The BounceBack Ontario team includes registered clinical psychologists, administrative staff and over 50 mental health coaches who provide safe and friendly telephone coaching in more than 15 languages.
Canadian Mental Health Association’s friendly and knowledgeable BounceBack coaches come from a variety of backgrounds, including psychology, social work and people with lived experience.
All coaches have received extensive training from clinical psychologists in the delivery of the program, as well as Youth BounceBack training, Mental Health First Aid, cultural and 2SLGBTQ+ competency and trauma-informed care training.
